Maura is a gifted radio and television host, actress and singer. Maura majored in Communications Studies and minored in Cinema at Concordia in Montreal and graduated with distinction. She trained in jazz vocals under world-renowned, Juno winning jazz diva, Jeri Brown.
Her voice has been heard over the airwaves as a radio DJ for nearly a decade on everything from classic rock stations to contemporary hit radio. She has interviewed the stars, like Bon Jovi, Maroon 5 and Lady Gaga, hosted listening sessions and national syndicated shows. Also, Maura was the host of the highly successful TV series, Space for Living on HGTV, a design show that took Maura around the globe to interview home owners in places like China, France and Sweden.
Currently, Maura is co-host on 99.9 Virgin Radio Toronto's "The Breakfast Show with Mad Dog & Maura", heard weekday mornings from 6 to 9 AM. Fans can look for Maura this fall on season 3 of the CBC smash hit, BATTLE OF THE BLADES.
